Rain Outs & Make-Up Classes
Dear META family, I just wanted to take this time to explain to all of our junior and adult tennis players our policy on rain outs and make-ups. Fortunately, we are almost finished with the Summer season (Summer Camp info), and the rain will die down a lot come October and November. However, until then we have to battle mother nature and all of it’s bad weather.
META’s official “make-up” day is every Friday. Whether your class get’s rained out, or some kind of unfortunate occurrence prevents you from attending class that day, you can make up your class on that same Friday at the exact same time you would attend your normal class during the week. If for any reason you cannot make it to the Friday junior or adult tennis class, then you have the option of attending our Saturday morning junior tennis clinic, and our adult tennis clinic as well, at either 10am or 11am (depending on the age).
The only thing that we ask is that you make-up your class that same week! This is only to assure that you do not fall behind in your skill development. Most of you attend your junior and adult tennis class two times per week, and once you start missing one class here and there, you will notice it in your lack of progression throughout your three month session.
If by any chance it rains on either Friday or Saturday morning, and you are unable to make-up your junior or adult tennis class, then you will be credited for that class at the end of your session. However, if you do not make up your class that same week, and there is no rain on Friday and Saturday, then the class will be lost.
META’s Junior Development Program, Adult Clinics, and Ladies Morning Tennis program are very special to us, and our staff wants all of their students to excel! We look forward to teaching all of you every single day, and sharing our knowledge upon you. We hope everyone is staying dry out there, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Sincerely,
Coach Vince Perri
